Seafood Boils

Call them Cajun Boils, Frogmore Stew, Low Country Boils, or whatever…they are simply good eating! Here is what they are all about…

The basic ingredients are shrimp, andouille sausage, corn on the cob, red potatoes, lemons, whole garlics, and spices. From this simple beginning, you can customize your boils with crawfish, king crab legs, mussels, and clams. With the proper timing, all of these ingredients are added to a very large pot of boiling water. The potatoes take about fifteen minutes and the shrimp take only two (don’t worry, we have you covered with the directions….see below!). Once done, ice is poured into the pot to stop the cooking process. The key to the “temperature” , or spiciness, of the final product in the length of time the whole concoction is allowed to steep, usually about fifteen minutes. Then the strainer is pulled from the pot and poured out onto a newspaper covered table—-dinner is served!

We carry everything that you will need for your boil. We are definitely a “one-stop-shopping” destination and we will gladly offer the loan of an 80 quart pot and burner stand to our customers who purchase their ingredients from us. (We do require a $125.oo credit card deposit for the 24 hour equipment usage.) All you need to supply is the propane tank and a healthy appetite! And, not to worry, we will furnish you with the fool-proof cooking instructions…even a novice can pull this off with style!

You can do a seafood boil for 2 people or 200! The basic package of shrimp, andouille sausage, corn, potatoes, garlic, lemon, and secret Shrimp Dock spices runs approximately $14.00 per person. A customized boil with EVERYTHING can go up to $18.00 or more per person. Should you have a large gathering (25 or more) and would like for us to cater, we would love to help you! We have catered events up to 350 people and can coordinate a total event, including appetizers, desserts, beverages, and table service.
